I'm an affable and gregarious person who is able to strike up a conversation with just about anyone at any time. I seem to make friends easily and enjoy good, meaningful conversation. I love to learn and am naturally curious and inquisitive, having a wide variety of interests. I read continuously, and often have three or four books in process at once. I especially love history and biography. I attend church regulary and often, being involved in such activities as The Living Nativity and The Passion Play, both which are major productions and well-known throughout the Lafayette area. I've been active in a local Toastmasters club for over 21 years and am the only remaining charter member. I'd say I have "joie d'vivre," and approach every day with an expectation that I'll learn something new and experience something fun and exciting.
